Evaluated historical reports and soil/groundwater data related to PFAS contamination associated with mist suppressant use at a metal plating facility. Conducted forensic analysis of contaminant distribution, identifying co-contaminants that suggest drinking water impacts are attributable to multiple potential sources. Developed and presented a conceptual site model to clarify the extent and complexity of the contamination. Findings provided critical insight into contaminant origin and variability, contributing to assessment of whether site-specific conditions satisfy criteria relevant to class certification.
